New research suggests people who smoke marijuana heavily may share a trait with people who suffer from depression.  The preliminary findings of the new study, presented at the Association for Psychological Science, suggests that there may be a link between heavy marijuana use and depression.  The “fading affect bias,” in which negative feelings related to memories fade faster than positive ones is the suggested reason for the link.
