Reports are surfacing that rapper Craig Mack, legal name Alvin Toney, has passed away at the age of 46 years old.
Funk Flex was one of the first to report the news via his social media account.
Mack was born in Queens New York and earned a name for himself in the 90s after being signed to Sean “Diddy” Combs Bad Boy Records. Macks biggest hit is was ‘Flava in Ya Ear’ but he only released two studio albums during his career.
In more recent years it was reported that Mack had denounced rap and allegedly was living in a religious community called Overcomer Ministry in Walterboro, South Carolina. Mack was seen on the churches You Tube page rapping and giving his testimony in the last couple of years. Mack said in one of those videos that he was doing “wickedness” in New York, and “righteousness” in South Carolina.
